PICKS FOR THE NEXT MARKET DAY
REASONS
BEHIND THE PICKS
-
Today's after hours market activities are
not encouraging. Watch out for a bruising
market for the rest of the week. Unless
of course, bargain hunters have the stomach
for it, or some exceptionally positive economic
news.
-
We do not see the Federal Reserve Bank cutting
interest rates by 50 bases points (0.50%)
next week, especially now that data is showing
the economy is no longer in a free fall.
Three interest rate cuts in a course of
less than 2 months seem rather excessive,
given the current economic conditions.
-
Be on the lookout for more technology stocks
rally and stock buybacks from technology
and Internet powerhouses like AOL, Ariba,
Inktomi, Microsoft, Nortel Networks, PMC-Sierra,
Qualcomm, Yahoo!, etc.

PICKS FOR THE NEXT MARKET DAY
REASONS
BEHIND THE PICKS
-
Today's after hours market activities are
not encouraging. Watch out for a bruising
market for the rest of the week. Unless
of course, bargain hunters have the stomach
for it, or some exceptionally positive economic
news.
-
We do not see the Federal Reserve Bank cutting
interest rates by 50 bases points (0.50%)
next week, especially now that data is showing
the economy is no longer in a free fall.
Three interest rate cuts in a course of
less than 2 months seem rather excessive,
given the current economic conditions.
-
Be on the lookout for more technology stocks
rally and stock buybacks from technology
and Internet powerhouses like AOL, Ariba,
Inktomi, Microsoft, Nortel Networks, PMC-Sierra,
Qualcomm, Yahoo!, etc.
